What is causing these yellow areas? Soil samples were pooled across a few fields. The symptoms on the corn appears to be K deficiency. It is very possible that the pooled samples covered up the deficient areas in the one field. Perhaps this highlights the need to pull soil samples from areas of 20 acres or less. If fields are less than 20 acres, then samples should be pulled from each field separately.
