The roots look restricted which could be a result of compaction. Do the roots have a mowhawk appearance where all roots appear to be growing in the same plane? Or, do the the roots look like a bottle brush where they are stunted in all directions?
The roots look like a bottle brush stunted in all directions. We pulled a soil test in the bad area, STP-45, STK-185, pH-6.8.
Colby, the bottle brush could be an indication of herbicide carryover ... Or very high rate. What herbicides were used last year and this spring?
